New broodstock facility on new commercial site.
With the facility operating at full capacity, the customer will be able to produce a minimum of 150 million roe per year, distributed over 52 weeks. The plant is used to rear fish all the way from the 100 gram stage to fully mature broodstock weighing up to 20 kg. Tightly regulated conditions ensure that the facility maintains complete control over every phase of the maturing processes of the fish.
We are particularly proud that the facility can handle the internal transport of all the fish with a minimum of staff intervention.
This is possibly the most complex broodstock plant in the world, and it is certainly the most demanding installation we have ever designed, planned and built.
